As others have already said... maybe change the exhaust, paint some fairings and get an aftermarket screen (double-bubble if you're over 5'5" heh) and then keep it maintained so you can sell it when you go after your next REAL bike. Use it as a learning tool for cornering, stopping... everything - I love my ZX2R and I have a lot of fun with it but it's only preparation for the next thing.. the ZX6 or ZX9 or whatever lies down the track

Just work on your road skills and have fun - the more skilled you become, the more fun it becomes, 250 or not
