Awsome toy!

Here's a pic of my 1/5 Custom fm1e nitro bike with the body off...

BTW,.. there are about 4 of us that get together once a week or a fortnight to get some track time and have fun etc.. But if there's anyone interested in getting into these bikes I can tell you that the 1/5th bike bug will bite you hard..! These bikes with the right motor setup will do about 60-70km no worries, and wheelies whenever you want..! If there is anyone from Brizzy here that's keen to check them out just PM me and let me know..

We need a RC mini Moto GP class here in Australia, touring cars have had long enough hogging up all the local RC tracks.. Someone has allready posted a link to the Skipton site, there you'll see what RC bike racing is all about..

Here's one of my Electric bikes.. It's a customized TTfm1e too,.. all CF frame, Delrin wheels.. This bike will do 60km no probs...

I thought getting into Nitro cars could cost alot... Atleast the parts are abit more attainable...


Bikes would crash a hell of alot too I would have throught... No locking up the road and doing a 180 and fanging it again..

You'd be amazed at how durable these bikes can be..! I thought the same with the very first one I bought, but after some getting used to it (learning curve) you crash less.. Sure you'll hi-side the thing at warp speed but the bike will just get right back up again and go.. A stock bike will need a little tinkering to get it durable, but most of that is just homemade improvements..

You don't need a whole lota cash for the bikes at first. The fm1e, there only about $189US at a few online stores,.. the only other getting started stuff you'll need is running gear (radio gear, battery and motor/ESC etc) and an after market set of tires/GRP or PMT for better grip.. It's only when you want to go faster/harder that you'll need to spend more..

I got one of those 1/5 scale bike its electric made in italy by a company called bergonzoni they make rc gear but then again i have a shit load of rc gear,cant help myself i love those rc toys

Cool, nice bikes the Berg's,.. but, you know that company stopped producing bikes about a year or two ago..? Parts for them are hard to get too.. It's a shame, I know.. But, if you ever needed anything to fix it, this guy is the origonal designer of the Berg bikes, he has his own company called TRD, here's a link to his site... The parts for the TRD bikes I think will fit the Berg's... http://www.trdmoto.it/aspnuke/ Sorry, most of the site is all in Italian..

I know of some other guys in Sydney that have bikes , plus a guy that makes custom discs and calipers for them too.., they would'nt fit your Burg, he makes them for the NF and the TT front wheels Hex's, and a rear discs brake also..

Hey, maybe one day these bikes will get popular enough that racing will finally eventuate... I hope to get something started one day, I've been spredding the word were I can.. I would have loved to have done a 1/5 bike demo though at the bike show this weekend just gone up here.. lol

Thanks for the info scaulfi, a mate of mine owns a hobby shop here in sydney and he is the direct importer of bergonzoni models,he is also the TTR agent we have the nitro ducati 999r in stock.

i got a O.S nitro motor at home for my r/c car. its got a bent rod
