How super illegal would THEY be in this country?

I dunno if they would be illegal, would they. Obviously if used at the right time they could get you in law trouble but from a pure fitment pov would they be a problem???

Remember the HQ and various other model cars have a number plate bracket that swings dow to get to the petrol filler. These do more or less the same thing IMO.

The button might allow ahhhh.. say.. washing under the plate??

Interestingly I have played around with the concept myself using model aircraft servo motors. Didn't know you could buy one already made up.

I guess they could charge you with conspiracy to commit a crime...

Just checking the old fine now... Code # 2118, number plate obscured - $110.

I had a bracket so i could move the rego label up and down, to block the plate. The only mistake i made was tightening it up to much so it was to stiff. "Oh i'm sorry officer, it must have blown up there" He grabbed a hold of rego label and said "bullshit, that's been put there on purpose"

The way i saw it at the time was a small fine, no loss of points and who knows how many times it had saved me

But at the end of the day, i only got pulled up because i was speeding. He wasn't able to get me on that for some reason so he was hell bent on getting me for something.

I have heard of people getting done for having leaves covering numbers / letters too. I think one of Mario's mates only just got off in Tas for something like that too..

Hey Chameleon it just so happens I have a numberplate dropper to suit a ZZR1100.....they don't fit the 1200 quite the same....home made but it worked well.....

well i heard that deliberate obstruction of your number plate is about a $1500 fine...

i have my p plate which works well and yeh i say to them well cant put it anywhere else sorry officer.

The gospel according to the law here in Vic is that the rego label must be displayed on the left and to the front of the bike, fiik why, but that's the law.

Mine used to be on the windscreen of my bike but I believe that might be legible to front facing speed cameras, not that I ever speed of course, now with the new screen I bought a label holder and it sits at the bottom of the number plate, that law is friggin stupid anwyyas

Plates need to be displayed so that all letters are clearly visible on a level plane between 3 and 18 metres at 180 degrees.

Apparently this gixxer owner had his rego label(accidently) obscuring his number plate when we rode into kyogle. Luckily the local police officer rectified the fault and turned the rego label holder around.

Anyone seen the new rego labels in Queensland? You might as well NOT have a numberplate- your rego number is printed in HUGE writing on them- about 25mm high, with a bold font.... Maybe they have gotten wise to the rego label trick.....

if you can get away with it, have fun. i got told by a cop that i have 2 move it 2 the side of the bike and that i cant have it on the ass
