New to KSRC? Then why not tell us about yourself and your bike.

Hey all, How is it going ?
Thought I would sign on here and check out what's happening on the bike scene in Australia. I am starting the long process of emmigrating out your way, so need to understand what's good, what's not etc. Where is the best place to bike, where can I do track days at a sensible cost. (over here I can do about two a month at about £40 GBP each) Are sports bikes even popular out there ?
Destinations are most likely going to be around Brisbane or Adelaide, but all that is going to be work dependant.
Anyway, hope you guys n' gals are enjoying your summer. My poor bike is laid up in the garage with a smashed generator cover after a nasty high-side on a wet and greasy winter road here. That will teach me !

Welcome aboard. I've only been out here 2 years myself and I'm bloody loving it
Most states have a variety of tracks days, NSW has Eastern Creek, Victoria has Phillip Island where we go for WSB and MotoGP. You can also check out

Welcome. I suggest that you move to Brisbane if you get the chance. They are severley lacking in KSRC numbers and Adelaide is thriving.

G'day. Not from anywhere near fife are ya?

Hey, yeah I am in Fife, living in Rosyth the now, been in Dunfermline for the last 4 years and before that was from the west coast (Largs). Somebody mentioned Adelaide, had been looking into the place, seems the roads around the hills sound fun. F* me the weather is pish here.

Welcome..
Unfortunately you won't get track days over here for that price.
Some of the goat tracks in Brisbane or S.A may be, but if you want to ride quality tracks Like Phillip Island and Eastern Creek, its about $200 a pop....

Oh, I should let you all see my current toy. What sort of price would a 10K/Km 2003 machine cost in Australia ?
Has since aquired a tinted screen and gold rim tape, which really works short of having the wheels powdered gold.
