Simple. Kawasaki bikes are so nice, after you buy one you're smitten with it and want to keep it for ages. It takes at least four or five years before the new model is so much nicer than yours that you finally trade it in. That's why noone's putting their '04 or '05 6R on the market.
Whereas H#ndas are so shite (I remember THREE CBRs overheating in the Citylink tunnel during the MRAA protest against the $50 safety levy) you're already wanting to get rid of the bastard thing within months of buying it. That's why there's so many more of 'em in the classifieds.
All seems perfectly logical to me

it makes perfect sense to me, however the sales those years kawa was really left behind from the other guys
