best bike carrying utes are jap IMO

a mates ford courier (mazda bravo) is ideal, as the tray is that little bit longer than kingswoods, commodores, falcons etc... so you can easily fit 2 bikes on the back and still close the tail gate

so hilux, bravo, courier, triton etc etc are all good... get one with a V6 and you might get 100kw heheh

Well actually I haven't met an XR8 yet that I couldn't beat!
Probably lucky for them the bike was on the trailer behind me or it would have been really bad!

i think my utes supposedly pumping out a "massive" 150kw (motor prob??) according to holden....tho it pulls my bikes everywhere they need to go, and all my leathers fit in the back with my tools, spares,etc...
and the stereo sounds great...and i dont get wet when it rains...

however riding on the road is SOOOO much more fun than driving..cept when its
a. -15deg and raining
b. 45+ deg and u have a/c
c. uve got a hot girl trying to give u a blowie while u drive...

My Ute is good for carring the dirt bike as well, it's just the car is better on fuel, more comfortable & quicker.

I have jumped the Courier further & higher over speed bumps than the SX however & the bent/broken bench seat proves it

Doesn't look like it's getting up and going anywhere. Looks more like it's kinda just, well, sitting in one spot.
