Another good reason to wear jeans and not shorts when riding....when ya putting the bike in the garage you will not burn your leg on the exhaust!!

Let that be a lesson to me.

I did it once loading the bike onto the trailer after a track day. Fried my arm and my leg and left cooked skin on the bike.

Nah, plenty of us equally stupid :D, me perhaps more so, done it more than once, was a tight fit where I parked the bike in the garage.

I know another dick who test rode a ZZR600 in shorts and t shirt....popped a little wheelie leaving the lights with both legs dragging behind and burnt both legs, and then again when they returned the bike to the dealer....doh!

I got off my bike once after riding home and only a few seconds later when it was too late did I notice the muffler was resting against the (plastic) bumper of my car in our crowded little garage. It melted the paint off. Bloody twin exhausts - something to burn or melt stuff on both sides of the bike!

That's another advantage of a bike like a zx6r with a four into one exhaust - the pipe is generally on the side of the bike that leans away from stuff as you go to the sidestand, not leaning into it!

Problem with the gpx centre stand, the part you push down on rests on the exhaust!!! No riding in thongs or shorts then
