The Kawasaki guy at the bike show were saying they want it to go into a new bike category, they call it the fun bike category, sort of a combination of sport, tourier and commuter. They want to market it as something that you can take out on the weekend and have fun on a bike that is comfortable and easy to ride and has a reasonable amount of power but won't throw you off if you wring its neck.

Anyone know what the difference between the ER6N and the ER6F?
Do we get the ER6F in Australia?
I live with fear everyday but on weekends she lets me ride.

Thanks Mr king,

Just a question....I never heard one running or being ridden and I've always loved the sound of the ducati twins   .........

so does this bike sound similar or comparable to a ducati or can it be made to rattle windows and teeth????

most unlikely.......these are parallel twins, and just don't have the unique noise associated with Bologna twins......

but if you want to know what a stock one sounds like........well, imagine letting rip with a bourbon fart in a big bath........you know the brrppplllee-sort of noise ??

well, thats it.

 (its true, they sound like shite stock...)
