On my Kwakas:
1980 Z440 some cheapo Chinese megaphones which still look like new after a year of abuse- cost $150 for the pair!
Why did you choose it? El cheapo is it a style thing? yeah they look good. was there a noticeable difference? Ummmmmmmm yep it had hotdogs on it which were rediculously loud- still nice note but sociable. How much did you spend? $150 Did you dyno before and after? No....did you have to make any carburetion changes? No. Any intake mods? No Would you choose the same again? Yep they are great
What did you fit it to? 1980 Z440 Kawasaki
1986 GT550 Transac 4 into 1 with alloy muffler
Why did you choose it? On the bike when I got it. is it a style thing? Guess so. was there a noticeable difference?N.A. How much did you spend? Nuffin! Did you dyno before and after? No did you have to make any carburetion changes? No Any intake mods? Foam (I made it!) airfilter- original one had perished.Used proper filter foam ,cut to size and glued on Kwaka airfilter frame Would you choose the same again? Yep sounds great, quiet enough but loud when you get under it- best thing is you can't hear it on the highway so the sound doesn't annoy you on a trip, but sounds good around town.

Why did you choose it? Good product that outlasts the bike and to get rid of HEAVY standard mufflers. is it a style thing? No I prefer the look of the stockers. was there a noticeable difference? Oh yeah! Particularly the weight but a bit of pickup to. How much did you spend? $900 (trade price) Did you dyno before and after? I dynoed before- 139 RWP haven't after yet-would guess around 145HP. did you have to make any carburetion changes? Yep just turned my flo-commander knob. Any intake mods? Nope apart from removed carby heater/water plumbing and reed valves in valve cover as well as adding a flo-commander. Would you choose the same again? Yep very nice pipes.
