Ouch! Were you wearing just normal jeans (ie non Draggin' Jeans) when you came off?

So what speed were you doing?
Always think what you could have done to save a crash...Have fun picking the scabs!!!

Only a couple of things to say, Bad luck RG, were the jeans draggin's and did you have to take a photo of the kwaka badge just to prove that you were on a kwaka

, heal up and back in to the saddle

Ouch, sorry to hear about the off!
I've been on quite a few rides with you and must say you're a competent rider and certainly one of the safest I've seen. It could have been anything.. when you're leaning over it doesn't take much, be it a white line, a slight ripple/undulation in the road or even a single stone in the wrong place. Also, I've always hated your suspension so that could be what let you down (literally!).
The other possibility is that you don't generally push the limits of the tyres, perhaps on this occasion you went past your normal cornering angle onto a smoother part of the tyre?
Glad yr ok, and the bike will live to fight again another day too
May be a good excuse to save up for a braking & cornering course?

Hey that sucks bigtime and you are generally a pretty cautious rider, had a experince like that when i picked up my bike new just went to turn right and the rear let go for no good reason and found myself sliding up the street.
Reckon the bitumen was shiney from the rain and not much grip going on.

so sorry to read this RG ... glad you are ok.
Cant say i'm impressed with the way your jacket came through it ... judging from the corner you couldnt have been going that quick and your jacket is torn

somehow doubt my leathers would tear in a lowish speed off. The fabric on the inside of my jacket grazed me too last time i went down ... way better than road rash tho
Heal up quick mate

Glad to hear your OK RG looks like it could have been a lot worse, this might have been caused by that front end vibration you have been talking about?
I am surprised at the road rash on the elbow/arm!
Neil
