As u come from NSW, to QLD, u will need to go thru Brisbane. There are some good roads near there. I don't know much about the roads near Townsville. I think Lawnmower man may be able to help u with that

I wish I had bet my house on that being posted !!!!!!
No, a map of tassie is no good now, because of the move to Qld, but maybe a Gregory's Atlas of Oztraylia would be a good idea

Sorry to drag this thing kicking and screaming back on topic, but there are a few roads I used to have fun with cars on back in my dark old days up there. If you head out towards Hervey's Range, on the road of the same name, you will get 5 mins worth of twisties there. Good fun and worth the small ride out though, used to 4 wheel drift all sorts of cars up and the range. The Paluma range a bit further out is longer and funner, but also much more dangerous. Then there is always Castle Hill, but it is pretty populated most of the time, and cops love to catch ppl there.

Just to fill in the blanks here, shes not riding from Tassie to Qld.
We have had a trailer specially made to fit the 3 bikes on. (ZZR250, GPZ600R, and the traitor of the bunch, her fathers, 2005 Suzuki GSX 1400)
Just need some good ride roads once we get to Townsville.
Lollie
