Two heads are better than one (we've proven that before) so I'd be greatful of your help if you've got the time. As importantly, I'd love to borrow your vaccum gauges. What are you doing tomorrow ?

My best guess has been float levels, but I'd be really interested to know why you picked it, given that my reason hasn't been posted. The reason I suspect the float levels is that, on our driveway (which is reasonably steep) the bike will splutter and stall - this was happening before the *service* so it was discounted to some extent, but it's well and truly back at the top of my list.

What makes you say electrical ? Only interested becuase the reason I went with a fueling problem was that it
didn't feel like an electrical issue ... not a good reason, I know, just a feeling.

Thanks for the suggestions, we'll check them all this weekend.
More info
- The problem can be exaggerated significantly by opening the choke
- The spark is good, fat and consistent on all three plugs (OK, four, I was just checking see if you where still paying attention

)
- Running on reserve makes no difference
- Fuel flow through the tap is fine / consistent when the tank is off the bike
