Question - Full Tank of Fuel in ZX2R

Hi again,

Are there any ZX2R owners (1991 C model more specifically) out there who could tell me how long or how many Km's a full tank of petrol will last - Including reserve? Should be more than 150Km's right?

How big is the fuel capacity, and how hard do you ring the throttle out?

From memory I used to get 200km+ even when I rang its neck on the road. I think the best I got was on a trip to Canberra which was around 250km. If your doing a track day take about 30 litres for a full day.

i get 200k on normal unleaded, and over 200 with premium.

THats riding hard.

and ive got a type c as well

mine is about 250+, i think it can be up above 300km but scared to try, don't wana get stuck at the lights coz no petrol, how embrassing it'd be

Best I did going to the GP and back.. 297K's to Reserve and filled up at about 342.

interesting to ask how many litres in a tank. i have noticed irrelevant to the size/capacity of the engine most real ninja's are thirsty buggers, usually get the 250+ a tank range but the capacity of the tank is an interesting aspect. Give another 950cc's and I get 230 to reserve depending on the abuse on 19 litres, hmmm????

Tank is 17 litres for a ZX2R I think......

I get about 230kms (without using the reserve) and then start looking for a Servo. I usually run on PULP

tank is 15l.

i WOULD OF THOUGHT YOU WOULD GET 300KM+ ON A ZX2. i GET 400KM TO RES ON MY gpx .

If I read right that is basically 1 kilometre a year? Must have been a demo bike that never got demoed.

yeah well i norm get 200 out of a tank then fill up
sometimes i hit reserve sometimes i dont. but i ring its neck how much 4 the 00 zx2 im keen to sell mine
