ZR7 !
Recently replaced by the Z750. if you can find one of these in good nick it would be a great buy for you. It is naked but is still a reasonable package and well worth looking. Very simplistic but would also be very reliable and a great step up for a more mature rider that understands that there is a position within the throttle range of on and off.
Just a thought

guys, after much deliberation I have my new bike, I had a look at the new Kwaka en6R but couldn't see the $$$ value in it, finished up grabbing a spankin new ZZR600. And I am stoked, this thing is the ducks guts......... nice seat height, good riding position, great acceleration and I ain't even allowed to open it up yet...... keeping the revs under or around 5grand is killing me...
pissed off though, second day I had the bike the heavens open up and now I gotta clean it...

I'm off restrictions in October and looking for a mid range sports tourer...
Criteria is pretty simple.........It has to be a Kwaka, 600 to 800cc and under $7000.
I'm pretty well set on the YZF600 Thundercat, most people tell me they are a good bike, but what do I need to look out for when buying used.
Firstly, YZF600 is not a kwakka.
Secondly, you did not stick to your budget of under $7000
Thirdly, welcome to the club and congrats on the new bike

yeah your right $7000 just wasn't enough, won't even start to tell you what promises I had to make to my wife to get her to release the other $2000, but shit it's worth it.......... The last brand new Kwaka that Peter Stevens will ever sell.
p.s. I let my son the Yamahaha owner have a ride today, he reckons it's pretty shithot, but I don't trust his judgement... if he had good judgement he would have bought the ZX10R instead of the R1.
