I've noticed the last couple of weeks that the Radiator on the ZX10R is getting a few marks or bent fins on the radiator from stones etc
so the time has come to combat it
Has anyone got a Radiator guard from Radguard on their 10R
if so what do you think
and i see they do black or polished alumium
think a black one on a black 10R would be to much

I have actually put one on my 12. I fitted a black one. On mine it just looks like part of the bike. I cant recall what the 10 actually looks like at the front but a black one will blend in better wouldnt it ??

I'll try to remember to put the photos up of my black Radguard. It's tucked away so much you don't really see it anyway.

I've got a gold one from a bloke in the UK called Mikes Grilles . It's fairly light (nowhere near as solid as a Rad Guard but it seems to do the trick) and ties on with lock wire. Cost ids about $90 AUD and he posted it within a couple of days.
There were pictures of it here somewhere but they probably got nuked in the crash. If I can find them I'll shot one up

Check the mikes grilles website, he is offering a 50% discount on the 10R model if you take a good photo of it. Bargin.

My girlfriend has one of the ones from austreetfighter and it causes the biek to run hot. I would recommend against these particular ones.

I got it for mine, sent him the photo's but he never put them up

.$45 for a radiator guard worked for me though

I got a stone in my 12r , Had it fixed and installed a guard for $220.00 , Then on a ProHonda ride , I was told that a guy makes them up in a purple alum from super cheap for $120.00 and they look far better.

I was wonderin why my bike seemed to be running hotter! When I read shifty's post, I put two and two together, and realised that it is probably because of the radiator guard I put on a few months ago. I got a Z750-specific one from
Beowulf Performance Products, which looks great, but must be causing the problem.
