I'm sure they'll suck it for quite some time yet before leaving the poor buggers and their families alone - not to mention our poor selves who are copping a media bashing over it.

a mate of my dads was working there the day before and the ppl that got trapped were the ones that took over from were he was working , he was pretty stressed
Posted: Tue May 09, 2006 11:30 pmthey were lucky they were still in their cage or they would have been fritz, the rescuers would never have located them in time, i went through the Olympic Dam mine when i worked there in '92, it was at 1200 metres then and the most amazing experience.. as close to outer-space as you could safely get, if you get a chance go underground.
