Hey there.

Has anyone here heard of, or further more, tried a site called bikerkiss.com??

I was curious about joining up to meet people...(and possible date them?)

I've always been a bit suss over dating sites, since you never REALLY know what type of person they are, but then again, after my past relationships turned to shit, I figure why not try a dating site, as even in 'real life', the man is never who he says he is.

So what are your thoughts on this biker dating site??

I joined, and got a wink, but I haven't replied or anything...

They work, but only if you want them to, but you have to be careful, and sometimes i wonder why people go on these things. Often it is because of work/kids commitments (of course depends on age), other times they just hate the pub/club scene and don't kow where to go.
I have tried a few, none worked for me, but I'm just an ugly bastard with a soft heart.......

i hada look there a few yrs ago wen they 1st startted spamming the old yahoo site..and i didnt like the look of it...seemed a bit...sus maybe?? i dunno..just dont like that one..the only one ive ever actually used properly was lavalife...the rest i was just browsin thru...

well umm there was this one time .. i dated a bird off biker kiss and she umm just kinda got out of jail for committing hate crimes using a large stuffed buffalo.

The way I see it, it's probably easier to find your perfect partner and then persuade them to get their Ls, buy a bike, etc than it is to meet a biker and then have to deal with the fact that apart from bikes you have nothing in common whatsoever.

Mind you - if you met a nice lady through a biker dating agency, it's perhaps more likely that she'd let you rebuild your motorcycle engine in the middle of the loungeroom. In fact, it's possible that she might be the one rebuilding the thing herself!

ive had a few flops as well as successes through dating sites. I've made a few friends too, which is good. But it's all really what you MAKE of it. If you have an idea of what you want in a person, use that as a guideline in however you look. online, pubs, meet in a park, etc.. Admittedly you can filter the wheat from the chaff easier online, but you can still do it.

Michelle copes with me hiding in the garage as she is happy i have a passion (she also calls the bike my other woman), and friends that share my enthusiasm for it. We have things in common on all sorts of levels, but alsso have our differencecs which are usually good (ok some aren't), but it's the variety in a person that makes or breaks it.

Anyhoo im rambling, but ive recieved waaaay too much spam about bikerkiss to ever even consider looking, just to satisfy my curiosity about how good/crap it is.

Stick to matchmaker / lavalife if your keen on the online dating thing. and remember, there are just as many people there out to take you for a ride as there are nice people, its just finding the ones that aren't out to screw you that's the challenge

Don't limit yourself to dating sights either. I have made some great friends in places like http://www.wayn.com etc. Thats all friendly get together with a few and who knows what may happen. As I said I met some great people that r cloase friends to me now and don't forget ol' faithful here surely someone here can help out haha. Someone must know somone that knows someone
