Giant bike....
Posted: Tue Apr 17, 2018 10:07 amJust got back from a bucket-list diving trip on the Great Barrier Reef, and did some awesome touring around coastal QLD/NSW. Will spare you the thousands of holiday pics but I did come across this:
first I just thought it was a promo dummy for the local biker friendly roadhouse
But closer inspection revealed it is (or was) a going concern! A 4cyl car engine and (auto) gearbox, disk brakes up front (much smaller than the clearly visible dummies). The outrigger training wheels retract forwards, so the belly pan is "for show only". The "rider" sits low in the cut-out in the seat/tank area and steers with handle bars linked to the big ones up front.
With hindsight the pics are pretty shitty but you get the drift!
