Thanks Mal, I had hoped you would say that so I brought one today. Pick it up Friday arvo after a few set up changes get made for me.


Oh since when did farking bikes come without pedals????? It's like buying a Ferrari without an accelerator pedal !!

My bike came standard with SPD pedals and Shimano shoes :twisted: ....

Most high quality bikes don't come with pedals as a lot of sales are upgrades and the customer mostly has his shoes and pedals already.
with the shoes if you go that way bontrager shoes are a better option than shimano they will fit better and have a comfort guarantee.
with the pedals there are 3 types downhill type,dual function and normal spd.Personally this bike is better than the new model superfly fs6.
If you do go with shoes and pedals make sure they set you up on a trainer and get you allighned properly,failure to do this may and probably will result in injurys in the future.

HI Guys,

so I have been really starting to get into the trail riding. Whilst I do some road KM's during the week on it as soon as get the opportunity I head straight for the nearest dirt trail

Since I tend to stay in Castle Hill when in Sydney Fred Caterson reserve is just up the road and the beauty about it all at the moment is daylight savings. Alloes a good hour or so of fun before it gets to dark in the bush.

Anyways for those that want to know what is close by them try this site
