Can't say I'm happy with the new xbox one release. Won't be compatable with the current games and atm they have stated that you may have to pay a fee to re-register 2nd hand games to play on it..!! And its more expensive than the PS4... I'll wait it out though as the Xbox is definately better for online gaming - albeit at a cost...

Can I ask what you mean by better online gaming? PlayStation will also be charging for online play with the new PS4, you have to be a PlayStation Plus member to play multiplayer. If you have a PS3 with PS Plus already it will be available on both consoles.
Xbox must be connected to the internet once every 24hrs to play any game, even single player games that don't use the internet.

I was refering to the current Xbox as most who have used both will agree the xbox is better online.. It would want to be, being a microsoft product - and payed for.
Interesting times as I'm sure the specs on both will change before November, xbox haven't confirmed the need to connect to the internet nor if they will charge to use 2nd hand games atm as there is a massive backlash about this and the fact you can't use your current games (this is the stupidest thing as loyalty goes out the door for both of em)... If it stays that way, we'll probly be going PS4..

Its ok Jonny, I've got Moto GP 10/11 on the xbox.... lucky as I wouldn't get to do any riding if I didn't..

It seems a lot of the Xbox community are angry with MS though, well we will see if their opinions change as we get closer to launch dates for both consoles
The only Exclusive title that XBone showed off that I would be interested in would be TitanFall.
Watch Dogs is also one to watch out for

You won't be happy then.
My son who is a gaming nerd extremis - reckons that the pre-sale orders for the PS4 are outnumbering XB One to the tune of 70-1 !!!!
The PS4 will be the nail in the coffin of the X Box franchise. The non-reverse compatibility is a huge marketing mistake, in fact the ability to now play all the old PS titles on the new PS4 is going to see PS4 sales explode through the roof. MS have made a really big mistake with the new console. The on-line gaming capacity of the new PS platform is waaaaaaay better than the old one, only the die-hard XBox fans will stick with this platform.
Its PS all the way mate, time to through that old MS rubbish away and get on board the winning team

Don't know about nail in the coffin! How quickly we forget the ps3 wasn't backwards compatible with ps2 games... The playstation might be the pick of the next lot though

Yes it was - the first version, the 60gig model - was totally backwards compatible with PS2 titles.
it was later upgrades (???) that removed backwards compatibility.
