I know this probably isn't the best place to ask,but........
The master cylinder on my kart keeps breaking. It'll do a seal then
Something else will fail on it.
So I'm thinking of getting a new master cylinder. The problem is
My current setup has two cylinders. I can only find single cylinder setups on ebay. Will these do? Or do I have to buy two?

You'll probably find that you will need the twin.

Does it have a balance bar between the separate cylinders? This may be bent which could lead to more pressure in one than the other.
Single disk? So it would be running a separate line to each side of the caliper.

Surely you could get a replacement or even better get a complete new system (MC and caliper)....this is what I would do.
This way you can get a balanced system.
Sus out what new karts are running but remember that fads are common and just because it's new doesn't mean it's better.
Does anyone outbrake you? If so what are they using.

All sorts of calcs needed to convert to single as you need to pump a certain amount of brake fluid to operate the caliper.
If you go to a bigger MC it will change the pressure.

Fuck this brings back memories of chasing better performance...thick disks, thin disks, pads... :?

What brand kart are you running?
Twin master cylinders sounds euro OTK perhaps? I know a few of the Tony/kosmic guys ditch the OTK brakes in favour of arrow.

It's a haas chassis. I've found an otk set on ebay for a good price. I've also found a white staffy up the road for sale as well.....
Choices choices

Mate the staffy will be a PIA but chasing half a second in the kart will give you more grief...

Go the staffy...hehehe

I ended up going both. I've moved up north and I get a house for 3% of my wage. I really should stop spending and start saving.
