I do have to give up coffee though... I love it to death but I need to at least drop it to a cup a day.

So I didn't give up coffee... love it too much goddamit! Also didn't change anything else and didn't exercise... it didn't stop the weight from moving elsewhere though so I took a celebratory picture! :kuda:

Don't worry, I'm not naked and my toes are very normal (in my family).

This is from about a month ago and I've even seen the ellusive 68 in there some mornings... not on Mondays though! hahaha

I'm also glad I posted about it here earlier as I wasn't unsure exactly how much I'd lost... found this on page 2!

"Start weight: 84k on 12/10/12
Current weight: 78Kg
Target weight: 70Kg (last time I saw that on a scale I was 14-15yo... probably in Roman numerals too)"

it should improve my hp/kg ratio when riding the ZX6R... so I've promised myself to re-fit the Race ECU and take the bike to a dyno to get it tuned!
8) 8)

Then again, if I were to lose another 5Kgs... racing in the Ninja300 Cup wouldn't be so out of the question!

Geepers Ed!!!

Are you some kind of jockey or something!!!

I'd be skin and bones if I weighed that much.

Awesome work though dropping that many kgs!!!
That's gotta be good for 5seconds on the track.

tuna diet works I tell ya.

Johnno all you blokes are killing it that is a seriously big number.

Trick is now to hold it, much easier to maintain than lose.

hahahaha I wish... my (dodgy) bathroom scale still has me at 17% body fat and since I'm not working out AT ALL it's probably right. Back in the day (i.e. 1999-2003) I weighed 72-75Kgs but had less than 10% body fat. I'd be waaaaay happier with that. I had a DEXA exam done in August and compared it against what the scale was telling me and it was only out by 2%... 19% body fat at that stage. With the amount of muscle I have at the moment, I could easily weigh 63Kgs if I had less than 10% body fat... that'd require some form of exercise though!

Congrats guys, obviously different things are wrking for everyone. Very inspirational none the less.

I have to say Jono, when i saw you the other day it was like looking at a different person. You look great.Who would have thought dirtbikes, tuna and wide open spaces were a recipe for success. Let me know if you ever start up a weightloss camp!

Laidback if cutting milk and bread out totally is too hard, try gluten free bread or a nut milk. I have found that having alternatives like gluten free pasta in the cubboard doesnt make me want it. But is a better choice if I do

Great weather is here to trying to get more active.Gym monday.. time to start smashing it

My late contribution to this thread.

Target: 68kg (mid 2014 hopefully). This is my teenage weight

I followed intermittent fasting (eating every other day) and zero exercise :P

How are you 180cm tall? I'm 182 and I could have sworn I was more than 2 cm taller than you. :?

Anyway, 70kg at 182cm is total horse shit. There is no way in hell I could possibly lose 55kg and still be alive.

hahahhaaha yeah... I would have said the same thing a while back (although I'm only 179) but now I can see myself losing more than a couple of kgs and still having room to improve. Did I just become anorexic? And in that case should I go and throw and up the 2 beef bacon and cheese pies I just ate? :?

I'm basically following this chart. 68 is ideal -- my teenage weight which looks like a walking stick.

But apparently being asian I need to be even a bit leaner :? Like those popasia girls maybe :D

Being around more and more fat people I think the perception of 'lean' had changed indeed !
