Can anyone help me move some furniture sat/sun?

Postby Strika » Tue Jul 03, 2012 11:53 am

OK, it's all come to a head. I can't afford to pay the rent anymore, so need to move what I am going to keep into storage. Sunshine has offered a shed to put my furniture in, but it's a bit of a steep hill to get up to the back shed on his block and I won't be able to do it myself, so any offers of arms and legs would be very much welcomed. Sunshine has also kindly offered the use of a small trailer. It's going to take a few trips, but thankfully, his place is only 10 minutes from mine. But, if you have a ute or trailer available to bring, that would make it even easier and faster.

Furniture which will be moved is Fridge, Washer, Dryer, bench, dining table, bed, lounge, chest of drawers, Cupboard and maybe a few boxes.

Please PM or txt me if you are able to assist.

thanks.

Just a massively big thank you to Sunshine, Borngreen, Photomike and JoeZRX for slaving away today, moving large and heavy things up rediculously steep slopes. All day they lifted, pushed and dragged my stuff out of my place, into Mike's van and then removed it and carried it up a slope so steep you might think twice on a dirt squirt.

I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for your help. Without you guys, I was screwed. Very cool people...... 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Also thank you to those who offered to help tomorrow, however the boys above took care of it all today without skipping a beat. So there is no need, but thanks again.

No worries at all Marty, always happy to help out a mate and the van does come in useful. I've got all you goodies locked away for when you're ready - they're out of the way so no hurry. Have to say the missus is drooling over a certain item... :kuda:

Take care of yourself and call me if you need anything

Cheers

Mike

Pleasure mate,

You've been generous to a fault with your advice and assistance to me personally and it only goes part of the way to say thanks from me.

It was also great to meet Sunshine & Borngreen and reacquaint with Photomike.

If you need any further help tomorrow, don't hesitate to ask. I'm only down the road.

Joe

Hi marty,

Hope ur feeling a bit better this morn,

Only to happy to have helped, i think Joe summed it up very well..
Mate u helped me more than u know, u helped me get my head right again when i lost my way, i was ready to walk away from 30 years of ridedays, u steered back in the right direction again.....

I actually enjoyed the day to be honest, good excise.... tho when we were at the top of that steep hill after lugging gear up and we were all panting and breathing hard..... were not so young anymore.......

Was good to meet the guys and catch up with mike again.
As the guys have said, were just a call away....
