WTF is the attraction with chroming???.....The reason I ask is my daughter recently started high school and had her school camp this past Monday to Wednesday I find out from her this afternoon that 43 yes 43 of the kids from the year seven camp got suspended today for chroming on the camp....Apparently the kids were doing it both nights and only got caught on the Wednesday morning....My daughter thank Christ wasn't stupid enough to get involved and told us about it as we have a pretty got relationship for now .....So I'm guessing there is gunna be 43 sets of parents taking leave to look after their kid's for the next 3-5 days....I'm all for the school with their reaction they should expel the ringleaders IMO...

What's peoples opinions about this?.....Would you let you kid go to a school camp again after this?....Cost us $300 for this experience

Kids will always do dumb things and you can't watch them all the time but FFS 43. That's 43 kids ( at least ) were unattended long enough for this to happen.

I could understand a few but 43 or more ?????????

My thoughts exactly Russ....Apparently the school is posting a newsletter tomorrow on their website so will post here their reply....

Where is the lesson in expulsion? Parents will be pissed, but will they stay home with their kids? How many can afford to? All too often kids are sent home and left alone or catch up with friends and get up to no good.

Yes, Why should your daughter be disadvantaged for the sake of others? Especially as she has proven to you she can make smart choices in challenging situations. The pressure on her from a group of that size would have been overwhelming. Good on you “C” You should be really proud Disco!

I would be making an appointment with the principal and requesting your money back. Again why should your family be disadvantaged for the experience?

Sorry Poss can't quote your reply on my iPad I get you with expolsion and your opinion on this was the one I was most interested in I almost rang you when I found out .....I'm sure it will be kept under wraps I am surprised it didn't reach the media to be honest ....Am just majorly pissed off at the moment and have the upmost respect for teacher's as I don't look at them as babysitters as most do but feel a little let down...
