Basically a cheap fast high - It’s the effects that are worrying
Immediate/short-term effects
• more relaxed: like alcohol, you feel more relaxed, laughing and feeling drunk
• disorientation/lack of coordination: particularly if larger quantities are inhaled
• extreme or dangerous behaviour: you’re more likely to do stupid or dangerous things after using inhalants, which can lead to accidents and injury either to yourself or others, unwanted sex, fights
• hangovers and headaches: after the immediate effects have passed, sometimes lasting for a day or more
• excitement: feelings ranging from mild excitement to euphoria, though there can also be agitation and uneasiness.
Long-term effects
Using inhalants regularly can lead to long-term effects, including:
• confused thinking: becoming forgetful and less able to think clearly or logically
• irritabilty: becoming moody, hostile or depressed
• tremors, weight loss, tiredness
• damage to the stomach, kidneys and liver
• brain damage: many of the substances used contain lead and other dangerous chemicals that can cause brain damage.

There should have been bed checks.. if they can Chrome for 2 nights, what else were they up to??

Where is the lesson in expulsion? Parents will be pissed, but will they stay home with their kids? How many can afford to? All too often kids are sent home and left alone or catch up with friends and get up to no good.
Where is the education about the effects? Where are the consequences?

Yes, Why should your daughter be disadvantaged for the sake of others? Especially as she has proven to you she can make smart choices in challenging situations. The pressure on her from a group of that size would have been overwhelming. Good on you “C” You should be really proud Disco!

I would be making an appointment with the principal and requesting your money back. Again why should your family be disadvantaged for the experience?
I’m sure this will be kept under wraps.
