Advice Hotline (now open)

Postby Aunty Cath » Tue Mar 23, 2010 8:32 pm

Hello dearies....

All the agonisingly confused, all the questioning, all the idly curious, all the wondering... this is the place for you, my pets.

Questions about the meaning of life, questions about the best accompaniment for camembert, questions about how to tell your friend they have smelly feet, questions about what tea to serve at a summer afternoon luncheon, questions about anything and everything -> ask away. No question too petty, no question too rude, no question too mundane

:D

Ask away, Sekio dearie.

Blurr... now let's look at why you're shying away from getting your questions answered... Hmmm. Is someone afraid of what the answers might be? Is someone worried about life changes? Is someone perhaps nervous that they'll look in the mirror and suddenly see something they've been hiding from all these years. There is nothing to fear but fear itself, my warm little cookie. So throw off your fears and ask away!

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking Mr Morgan (by the way - please to meet you. I don't think I've had the pleasure before today).

I think it may be a metaphor. You are in a sad place right now. The bottle is a symbol of your life, and you fear it may be "running dry". Take a few deep breaths, my pumpkin. Life is grand and good things are just around the corner. Do not dispair, there is plenty of fun left to come in your long life. I suggest some nice long rides on your lovely motorbike, some quiet time to think on all the good things in your life, and some self-love.

All the best, sweet crispy noodle

I has a question Aunty Cath.......

I has a mate who takes great delight in aiming sheep jokes my way for some reason.....maybe his team keeps getting beaten by my team...I dunno....so my question is........if I can only fit either a pizza or a carton of beer in my topbox which one should I chose? :D

If there is not much alcohol, I would suggest a nice summery fruit salad if it's casual or a lemon tart if it's a nicer affair.
If there's plenty of alcohol, I would go with a chocolate or caramel mud cake or a meringue. But don't put too much effort into it because the boozers won't notice!

Put the pizza and two beers in your topbox. Drink the third beer. The remaining three beers can fit in your jacket

This is another one of those metaphors I think.
Don't be concerned, my little fried potato cake. The Heroes always triumph in the long run 8)
