I fell off a footpath (yes really! and I was sober too) on the way to work. Originally everyone said "sprain".
Except it didnt get better.
Damage is peroneal tendons, cuboid bone & most likely a lisfranc injury. Lisfranc is hard to diagnose but this needed to be put in plaster for 6 weeks immediately after the initial injury - but that didnt happen.
Now a permanent injury & needs an op which involves plates, screws, 3 months in plaster & 12 months intensive rehab & time off work.
All that & only a 25 - 50% chance of some improvement - but getting desperate & will take those odds.
Then I should be able to ride again... missing it .

HSV GTS Maloo ute sold out before Holden puts it on sale
My question to all the people who purchased one, on the performance of these fantastic cars:
Where are you going to be able to use it?..... taking it overseas?

Pete, you obviously don't hang around the flanno wearing Westies in Penriff enough
They cruise around below the speed limit in their Chevy badged rockets with a chubby in their pants just from the fact they know what's under the hood
The power only gets used when someone in a hurry in the next lane tries to pass them
Funny how that article is in the Business Finance section. Only hope the new owners live long enough to see a return on their investment
Great marketing from GMH to get around $85K for a 2 seat ute from the punters. Makes you wonder why GMH just don't keep them all and sell them in 30 years from now for 10 times that price.......
