BNE: Know any good pubs that serve euro beer?
Posted: Fri Mar 13, 2009 12:43 amHello folks as the subject banner suggests I'm looking for a pub in inner BRISBANE or there abouts that serves German/Belgian/European beers and food too.... any pub food.
I've been tasked with organising a stag bash for my best mate and he wants to go to a pub with 9 of his closest friends (and father in law) that serves a good range of European beers, yes the ones that taste like tar and leaf mulch, my beer tastes are AUS/NZ based so where do i find a pub that sells this stuff in the BRIS area that will also do a decent meal for 10 blokes?
He hasn't been forth coming with any suggestions so i'm starting to regret letting him off easy with one phone call to Kingston park race way for 6 sessions of go kart racing (that left all of us crippled for the next two weeks) followed by beers and snags at my place for MY bucks night.
suggestions / idea?
Strip joints that serve German beer and steaks would also work for me too, tho my mate might take dim view of that.
