Looking for a bed... BRISBANE

Sally, Casey and I will be in QLD on holiday for the week from the 8th August until the 14th. We are heading out to Oakey for the first 2 days to catch up with a mate who does some specialised work for the Army.

After that, we are heading to the Gold coast and staying in the quite dodgey looking "Crown Towers Resort" - hey, you've got to have a budget when you have a family. :)
We'll be doing all the normal things. Theme parks, exploring, tourist attractions, sitting in the hotel room spending hours lazing around... hopefully.

We fly out of Brisbane at 0700hrs on the 14th.

So, I'm hoping to scrounge up a bed for the 3 of us, for one night in Brisbane, leaving early. Somewhere close to the airport would be preferable.

Can any QLD'ers help out? If not, I'm doomed to stay in some cockroach infested hotel room......

There is plenty of room here at Haus des Felix...but of course we're in woombaland, only 20 odd mins from Oakey...

Incidentally that is the week I am having "holidays" so I can pretend like I have a chance to pass Law... :lol:

Sigh, but yeah, why not drop round for lunch at a pub or sumfink?

If all else fails you're always welcome at Nanna's Cottage Jas. I can always send the young fulla to his mothers for a night which frees up the double in the spare room. I'm west6 of Brissie towards Woomba & 45mins from the hairport.
We'll organize something while your here as well.

hey, I'm sorry I can't offer a room as I'm staying with my old duck and she's weird, but looks like you've got plenty of offers anyway. would be keen to meet up though, at whatever it is that Nanna has planned :shock:

It appears we southerners are all flying up!!! I am hoping on a plane at 5.00 today and will be up there till Sat AM. I'm staying at a mates place in (Spell) Malloolaba? North of Brissy anyhow! :lol: I'll be flat out except for Friday night, when we are going to have a little night out. Most likely up north but. I'll post up once I know the details. 8) Fark I hope it's warm. :)
