I was trying to explain just how big the solar system/galaxy/universe is to the kids, and came up with a scale model.
We had looked at a scale model of a bike 1:12 scale, and so tried to put our surrounding into perspective.
If we reduced the sun to the size of a tennisball (6.5cm in diameter)..
The earth would be 1.5cm in diameter
The earth would be 16760Km from the sun
The next nearest star Alpha Centauri would still be 41600 million Km away
Galactic central point would still be 3400 light years away
This is jut 1 side of 1 of millions of galaxies - how farkin small are we in this universe.

Makes it kinda naive of people to think that there's nobody "out there", hey?

and on that note....
a hassle, a problem, any problem is just pretty small in the overall scheme of things....

Try something like Asahi (japan) or Moosehead or Lebatts(Canada)
If you want local - try Bohemia Pilsner (from Blue tongue brewery in Hunter)
IT's all good!
