booked some flights with tiger airways and applied for 3 days leave from work 10 weeks in advance.
apparently nothing can be organised in 2 and a half months in terms of relief for me.
im trying to transfer the names of the flights over to my parents so they can go on my holiday for me.
the customer service seems to be non existant with tiger airways so i was wondering if anyone has turned
up to a flight with a booking slip under someone elses name and not had any trouble.

also i refuse to do any farken work today until this issue is resolved. im so farken pissed about this.

You need Photo ID to get your Boarding Pass so I'd say no they can't go in your place :?
Is there a number to ring on your booking form? or check the conditions of the "ticket" you may be able to transfer it?
I flew Tiger to Melbourne and back, I thought they were ok, no better or no worse than jetStar for instance, but one thing to watch is your baggage weight .... DON'T EXCEED IT! I saw one guy ahead of me get done for $140 for excess baggage weight and he was something like 4kg over!

Working at an airport, I deal with these noobs all the time. Most have a late cancellation policy which wont allow transfer of tickets. But seeing as you're giving them 2 months plus notice, I fail to see why they wouldn't allow you to change the tickets over. You'd have to read their terms and conditions which will be on their website. If not, start threatening them with Office of Fair Trading. They'll usually do the change over rather than have to deal with that.

Worse cast scenario, take a couple of days off sick!

Dunno about that ? Flew Virgin up and back to Qld last weekend and just printed a boarding pass on line for the flight up and on the way back just fronted the counter and said my name , boarding pass handed to me . Not a single proof of ID .
