Things you do that scare the crap out of you.
Posted: Tue Feb 19, 2008 10:08 pmI thought i had done enough to scare the crap out of myself by doing all kinds of foolish things on my motorbike, however tonight i discovered a whole new way to scare the pants off myself. That way being asking Michelle to marry me (well technically i asked her to come to dinner as my fiance, but you get the idea), i figured it was a pretty neat way to kick off our little holiday in Byron Bay 
.
There was a lot of nerves on my part, and eventually when i did ask her, at first i got a good half minutes silence while she processed what i had just asked her. In any case she said yes.
All we have to do now is absorb the enormity of what i've done and now field questions from left right and centre as to when we are getting married, and no we havent a clue, but "sometime within the next two years" seems a pretty good answer until we figure out any details.
Anyhoot, heres a picture of the ring.
p.s. i never realised how much a p.i.t.a it was to take a photo of a ring, even with macro enabled, until i tried it today.
