...taxi

no train/bus goes near
so
about an 1 hour from leaving Tulla
(you have to go thru the city or on the outskirts
on Citylink to get there)..maybe 50 mins

its not an easy one from Tulla

its a bit like going from Syd airport to Crows Nest, St leonards or Lane Cove
ya gotta skirt the city

yeah
50-60 mins from the airport
(traffic depending..the freeway in from the airport
towards the city runs slow in the mornings)

glenferrie station could be close, depending where on burwood rd. Hawthorn might be near as well.
You'd probably be able to get a tram from the station to save a bit of walking.

I'd just taxi it though.
You'd be spending 20 on a bus to get to southern cross station then a train to glenferrie would be another 5 bucks. 45 minute journey.
Taxi will be 60 ish I reckon and take a similar amount of time, probably a bit less.

That estimate is probably on the low side too... have had to direct a cab once to the MCG...
