The road would have to be really good (and the booze cheap enough that I could drink myself into oblivion to get to sleep).

i wouldnt pay top dollar for it, but ive had worse.... u ever camped at sbk/GP mate??


if it was less than $50 it wouldnt be too bad..i just stayed at a place that wasnt plush, just a plain basic 1 bed hotel/motel and it was $90.. i remeber when u could get a room for $60 !!

When I were a lad we used to live in a cardboard box in t' middle of bloody freeway, me, Mum and Dad and Eight brothers and sisters.......

yeah HTFU! I've seen worse... seen a lot better to :P it would probably be pretty cheap though right?

not like theres a electrical main running down the wall next to the bed or anything :lol:

and the room at tintaldra wasnt that bad, wasnt it only $25 each or summat...besides, we are there for the eggplant moussaka not the quality of accomodation ;)

I got a discount cos I slept on the mattress on the floor...and I had more room than if I was on one of the bunks anyway :lol: :lol: :lol:

I had the room closest to the road upstairs, was in a bit better nick than yours. Double bed only though with no bunks. After riding from Brisbane that day anything with a shower and a bed would have done me, and for the price it wasn't too bad.

Oh and as for the road being OK the Oxley Highway starts in Port Macquarie (gets good after Wauchope) heading inland. A++++ will ride again.
