Dyno for bikes, help

Postby Adel » Wed Oct 03, 2007 11:31 pm

Need some pro help from you lot please, is there a dyno for bike around sydney somewhere, I wanna test my bike cause the other day travelin on a road where there was a speed camera an I got flashed and I immediately lookd at my speedo and it read 58 ks an hour, we all know it cant be the camera because its perfect you know the rta is never wrong  even if the camera's faulty and I got jack chance provin it ( money hungry bastards ) its still realy odd if my speedo is out by lets say a coupla ks, cause don't vehicles have to b travelin at least 10 over for it to flash. I will only know if I test it on a dyno

much appreciated

Another option is to borrow a GPS and whack it in a tankbag, or put a pushbike speedo thingo on there.

There's heaps of dyno places around Sydney that would do this for you, Adel.

Parramatta Kawasaki would be an option. I know Love Motorcycles at Hornsby would do it for you for around $25. I don't know of any closer to your area, but I'm sure you could ring around a few motorcycle workshops and ask if they have a dyno, if you don't want to travel to Parramatta or Hornsby.

Try RB Imports at Caringbah. Not far from you. This is where I got the 12 sorted.

182 Taren Point Rd Caringbah

I think they even do R1's. ;) If you ask nicely.
