Got dragged along to see Hairspray by the bride!!!

Postby Strika » Fri Sep 14, 2007 4:03 pm

And boy am I glad she did!!!!! :D I gotta tell ya I had tears rolling down my face for most of the movie!! It's fecking hilariously funny!!!! I reccommend it for boys nad girls alike!!! travolta was brilliant, the lead girl role was a cracker and loveable and there is also the cutest little blonde girl for the testosterone overloaded!!!! Something for everyone!!!

But it really was a great movie. One which I had serious concerns about having to sit through and went along begrudgingly (unbeknow to the bride naturally ;) ) to see. From the opening scene I was laughing, and at a few points uncontrollably!!! Go see it!

Is it suitable for 6-and-a-half year old's? My daughter is busting to see it because she thinks it'll be like Grease...which come to think of it wasn't really a movie for 6-and-a-half year old's

Hehe me and my sisters watched both Grease and Grease II plenty of times at that age... all the stuff that "might not have been suitable" went straight over our sweet and innocent heads :D

She would love it Mick. She may not get some ofthe Humour or the way people thought during the day, but she'll get most of it and there really isn't anthing that could be considered detrimental to a 6 year old girls mind! Even by my standards!

Yeah I watched grease again recently and realised how much "Mature content" it contained, even though I too had seen it at an early age.
The difference is these days it's the kids sitting there watching knowingly and having to explain it all to us :D
I got a sweater for my birthday. I realy wanted a moaner or a screamer.
