In a word................NO !!
what a load of frogshit. For starters, not ONE single bike used in MadMax2 kept the original tank and stickers like that heap of shit. Most were heavily modified with dodgy fairings and seats.
Secondly, when I was in Silverton back in 2002 for the 30th Anniversary Rally of the Z900, I spent some time with the owner of the Silverton Pub, discussing lots of things about MM2 - what a surprise !!
Anyway, what happened to the bikes at the end of filming was pretty sad - you know the moat that surrounded the compound that all the bikers were attacking ? Well, old mate publican drove the D9 dozer that bulldozed the entire compound, most of the cars, and all the bikes, into that very moat. It was a big moat.......He reckoned most of the bikes were basically fucked by the end of filming, and only a handful of cars/buggies were saved - These are still on display at the Mad Max 'Museum'

try a shitty tin shed full of dust and cobwebs.....
So unless the dickhead that owns that piece of shit 250 has actual photographic evidence of that *exact* motorcycle being used, I would bet my house that one of his mates said "....Heh, your old shitbox looks JUST like the bikes from MadMax2 !!! Lets stick it on flea-bay and no-one will ever know !!!..."
Funny how it ended up with 0 bids .................
In late-breaking news (well, not really) - One of the Z1000's that Jim Goose rode in MM1 was alive and well about 10 years ago......I don't know where it is today, but it was actually owned by a punter in Sydney.......now THAT is a bike that would be worth a few bob on e-bay.....
