Phew! That's a relief.........I have the next five days off and fly out to Cairns in the morning with the Bride.

It's been a pretty mental first half of this year, and the calender isn't looking like it's going to get much better as the 2nd half rolls on! So before i headed over to Ethiopia to be shot at by seperatist rebels I thought I would enjoy a few days in sunny FNQ! Staying in Cairns for 3 nights and two nights at Pt Douglas. We had a ball last time we went (two years ago) so are looking forward to it. Activities that we have decided upon so far are......
1.Hire a muddaboik and do the Gilles loop.
2.Hire a scooter for the bride to try out.
3.Breakfast with the birds at the Pt Douglas bird sanctuary.
4.Feeding the wallabies and kangaroos at the Pt Douglas Bird sanctuary.
5.Holding and Feeding the Koala at the above also.
6.Perhaps a reef tour (dunno if I could be arsed diving again)
7.Food, Food and Food.
8.Nights out.
9.A lazy day at the beach.
Faark makes it sound like we are gunna be busy!
I have packed both the new digital still camera and the video camera. I'll try and take some piccies and a bit of vid footage to post upon my return.

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?
