Almost alive

Postby MunkeeGrlZX6R » Thu Mar 15, 2007 6:09 pm

Christ its been a long time since I came on here!!

News - stacked and cracked Dec just before christmas, bikes fine but I have to walk, catch bus, ride skateboard or hitch til mid 2009 yay!! Own fault for trying to ride after drinking a 6 pack of 440ml scotch and drys, 3 mids and 4 tooheys. My unintelligent thinking is that I managed to wheel the bike off my porch without falling over so I could ride!!

Intelligently speaking now though is that I am currently doing my Diploma in Freelance Journalism part time and still making radiators full time so if any of you groove bunnies need a radiator real soon preferably within the next six month - dont plan on being at ADRAD forever - let me know.

I better get back and do some study...

Sorry to hear about the off MG but you're right in that there is really only one person to blame..

As for the radiators, believe Ponti is still making Radguards so you might be outta luck for a bit here anyways.

GL with the studies.

Congrats for the honesty about being pissed, I wont bag you too much as i am sure others will. As long as you learned your lesson and no one was hurt. It wasnt THAT long ago (when it was legal) that I cant remember doing it myself and we used to laugh about (AND we were stoned too  ). How we ever made it to now I dont know. It is VERY dumb, but I guess you know that now. Hope the bike and you werent too dinged up

Oooooh how much to knock up a custom radiator for an 04 ZX6R??

I've got a really munted one that can be used as a donor for end tanks if that helps.

The other less munted radiator is on my race bike with the engine out of your old 636!

Ideally I'd like to go a longer rad for better cooling with water in for racing. The stocker isn't up to it.

Welcome back.

Sorry to hear about the off - never good to drop a bike, worse considering the circumstances (as in avoidable).

Good luck with the course, it's a grind getting into the Journo circus.

AS FAR AS GETTING RADS CUSTOM MADE, ALL I NEED IS THE SPECS , LIKE HEIGHT, WIDTH, BATCH, HOW MANY FPI YOU WANT, WHETHER YOU WANT DIMPLED OR NORMAL TUBE ETC ETC...
BELIEVE ME BLACKNINJA AND I WERE QUOTED SOMETHING LIKE 1500 FOR A RAD FROM KAWASAKI FOR MY ZX6R I THINK I CAN GET THEM FOR LESS THAN A THIRD OF THAT PRICE LET ME CHECK INTO IT...

Yeah but I didn't throw copious amounts of alchohol down me belly before making a mistake, eh!

A couple of schooners, yeah ok, a can of bourbon and coke, yeah ok.

How many more times are we gonna hear MK has crashed again, hopefully she will have learnt her lesson by 2009 and she pulls her head in and stays off the drink.

Yep, I've made mistakes and yep I learnt to deal with em, yep they can be embarassing and yep people can say what they want, but drink driving and posting about it

We have all had a couple and run home on the knife edge of loosing ya license but to be tanked off ya head in this day and age just shows how farkin stupid some people can be!

If ya get away with it don't think people are gonna think ya smart, they just think ya stupid and you WILL get caught.

Fuck it, make mistakes riding, make mistakes walking down the footpath, make mistakes driving, the fact is if ya fill yourself full of piss and make a mistake, YOUR A FUCKIN IDIOT.

So no I won't pull my head in, I'm just a little pissed off.

I think I'd better finish with this thread now

Faark Damon!!! You not well or sumfink!! Chill mate!! I still reckon the tone of MG's post is that of "hey, I fucked up, I know I did, but instead of shutting up, I'm gunna come clean and be honest, so hopefully someone else can learn from my mistakes!! At least that's the tone I took it in!

Hmm goodonya MG the only person you are going to wound is yourself hopefully but i also remeber the I was to pissed to walk so i had to drive defence although i never had to use it as i lived walking distance from the pub when i was a young fella so no need to drive around pissed.

There is more of it goes on than what you would think when i was cab driving i used to back off and give them plenty of space till a good opportunity to get around them and this was on 3 lane freeway.

even saw someone get a small 4 cylinder car sideways on dry freeway one night and am still trying to work out how they did it.

I go to fast so i am guilty of my own infringements and good luck with the fines MG.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?
