Will be in adelaide next week with the family, unfortunately got accommodation until 30th only due to cricket or some sort. All hotels are booked

Is there a nice little town somewhere around adelaide which I may still get a booking ?

yep..and the first one that comes up is where we stayed

Thanks all. Smitty's recommendation has been booked out unfortunately as well as the other 2 on the hills (looking at wotif.com.au)...

The closest I can get at the moment is Maslin Beach (is that a nice place?) but 45km away...

p.s. is Adelaide Hills what's known as "The Gorge" ? Pity I'm not on the ZX.

Belair was where I stayed when in Adeliade many eons ago for a jazz festival, damn nice area, kinda like Belgrave here but closer to the city (I believe).

and from memory...
there is a Gorge Rd in the Lofty ranges

Yes.

I would recommend - anywhere down on the south eastern coast of adelaide. About 20 -30 minutes from adeliade itself from the worlds only one way highway. great mornings and evenings.

Gorge Rd is out in the hills.... runs from Nth of the city to sum small townships in the middle of nowhere (but nice rides)

Maslin is a long way Sth..nudie beach...never been there tho..

How many of u are there Andi?? and for how long do u need the accom??

my place isnt big enuf for anything more than 1 person to crash on a lounge for a night or 2 in passing, but i will be licenced and can help by showing u round etc if required...

theres abt 3 hotel.motels around my place..best western's and stuff...u tried them??
