Postby Burky » Fri Oct 13, 2006 2:33 pm

Well i made it currently in the hotel in Hongzhou and just found out that they have free internet.

What a shitter of a trip though left 9:55 last night and just arrived now. The supprising thing here is there is no sky  it looks cloudy allways so i am told  Now time for a quick shower and off to factory 1,2 and 3. Will be online tonight sometime.

Dave Colette is right  She did beat you to that one   Sunday is Shopping time in Hong Kong Colette  .

Just got back from the factory oh boy :!:

Words of advice for anyone heading this way:

1)Bikes don't need helmets
2)Road rules do not exist. I belive it's the anything goes policy?
3)Make sure your horn works and it is Bloody loud  .
4)If you get fustrated with Sydney drivers cutting you off, YOU ARE SCREWED BIG TIME :!:

All in all it is insane. Have not seen any real bikes here yet although lots of scooters and 125 hoondas, all out of control(re:point 1)

This is an eye opener and this is in the first 5hrs. Shit :!:

I spent about 12-13 days in China back at the end of March & I know what you mean with the sky...

We thought it was just overcast, but it's always like that

We did Guangzhou, Shenzen & Shanghai & we flew into Hong Kong Airport from Brisbane on the way over & isn't that airport HUGE!

BTW if anyone wants a cheap Rolex, Omega or DVD Burky should be able to help you out as everywhere he would go in the city they would be offering it to him....

We even had the "sex massage" offer a few times which was funny....

I went there in 1985, lot's of people and BIKES with and without motors. The Yangtze-Kiang (Shang-Hai) is always mud brown. Went to Guangzhou by rail , and some other places i can't recall the names of.

I was over there on a "Sales Conference" trip alittle like my Fraser Island trip with my boss's & spent a day looking at furniture & another day looking at floorcoverings...

If you can go to Shanghai & do the MagLev train, 431kph top speed which is nearly as quick as my 636, but with slightly better suspension....

I think it cost $30?Aus including the return trip.
