well I'm goin' out early here - but tonight was way better.

NFI how many parts are in this mini-series, must be at least 2 more I reckon........

Now it is starting to look more like a story and less like titties & beer. I mean - titties & beer is good and all......

I toghght it was pretty shit TBH both nights but that being said, the big split has occured so should start warming up a bit, clearly they were on a tight budget though, most of the "actors" can't act for shit I don't reckon.

More shite ...

who lays there bike down, and is still walking and talking, and leaves it lying on the deck ?

and then doesn't have his mates recover it, without the cops getting it ?

Be interested to see how they portray the Milperra "incident". I was there.........

Well I'd be interested in your version. Have no knowledge of any of this so it would be interesting to hear first hand without the fantasy......

So was I...... I left just before the shooting and went back when we heard about it. My Brother lived on Beaconsfield Street. We went looking at what was on offer at the swap meet. There were that many "Bikies", I remember saying "they should of had a leather sale, not a swap meet", and we left.
When we heard about the shooting, we went back. We hung around outside with the other rubberneckers for a while and then went inside through a back way.
We saw a copper standing with a manual typewriter on a pool table taking a statement. We didn't want to get caught up in it, and went back outside. Inside and out was pretty well shot up and the bodies were still there. It was a mess and there were coppers and ambos everywhere, but probably less than half the bikies, were still there. Looked to me like a shoot out, then if you could, piss off quick, incident.

I notice a lot the filming of the lads on bikes and the accident was down the back of Rosehill racecourse next to the refinery.

The script so far seems to follow the books that it was two gangs just trying to show the other that they weren't prepared to back down, so it just continued to escalate. The truth is always as someone remembers it

I think from the promo for next week they portray it as it was reported, a shootout with little care for bystanders

And surprisingly a helmet was worn in the scene, the first and only time to date.

I'm enjoying it so far (to a limit) but, while I remember it being on the news, I was too young to know the background/history.
