I call BS on this Strika. Which of the comments in this thread are acceptable regarding Catholics but wouldn't be if levelled at Muslims?

Why do you call BS Cath? In my opinion and from my experience, Muslims do not take well to having their beliefs criticised or made fun of! They tend to fervently react!!!!

Are you kidding, I herd it compared to Band Camp from American Pie. At the last WYD in Rome workers had to clen up thousands of used condoms from the camping areas after WYD had finished, I'll see if I can find the news link to the artilce and post it up.

I misunderstood you - I thought you meant world war three from the politically correct brigade (not from the Muslims themselves). Cancel my BS call.

I think most people react poorly to having any firmly held belief criticised! I know I have a few hot-button topics that I can't react calmly to  (fortunately they're topics that aren't discussed on this forum, so you're spared my foaming at the mouth  )

I would buy one of those shirts and proudly wear it all week

I just don't get why the tax payers have to fund the event?

The Catholic church has tonnes of money.

The money they save could go on fixing Victoria Road. I swear there was a pot hole I hit the other day that took 5 minutes to ride back out of.

A bunch of polava as far as i'm concerned. With the farce of a spectical the APEC summit turned out to be with traffic, they have a real nerve cutting the cbd in two just so a bunch of g.a.s (Ghost Appreciation Society) can pass through leaving a big stonking mess behind them. What about those of us who a) dont give two shits b) just want to get to work on time c) neurotically hate having drums bashed beside them.

In all seriousness im still amazed they blindly ploughed ahead and did it in the CBD when a better facility (Homebush stadium, hell it held a even bigger spectacle, the Olympics) is available and currently sitting idle doing f-all.

It should be Catholic Week. Calling it World Youth Week is deliberate lying, in an attempt to appear more universal and appealing.

they call it youth week to attract.. well youth ..for the peds in the clergy...hmmm international smorgasbord..  ........ nice images gos/rossi
