Hello from Vietnam

We got back yesterday and had great time, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good cheap holiday...
I've been to HCMC and Hanoi a few times before for work, the last time about 8 or 9 years ago, its changed a bit since then.
This was the first time I was there on holidays and had more time to look around and go up North to the beach resorts...

The quality of some these resorts is as good as you'll find anywhere and your right on the beach from $20 + a night. The place we stayed in was about $45 a night, right on the beach, great pool and cheap. It was cheaper in the restaurants and bars along the beach though, we never payed more than $1 a beer the whole time we were there.

HCMC (Saigon) is bit more expensive but rooms in the city can be found for the same price. Its great for a short time, but the hussle n bussle, street sellers, beggars and constant noise and beeping horns gets on your nerves after a while.
Great people, very friendly and fantastic value for money..
