I'm with Ron, my right knee is farked from 2 skiing accidents, its done more damage than the 1/2 dozen road bike stacks combined

I skiied for 30 years ...and also ran Marathons for 20 of those 30
the running pharked my knees more than the skiing but I thought I could still do the giant carve ups

until a cager did a uturn next to a No Uturn sign and the surgeon (knee fixer to Hawthorn and St Kilda AFL clubs) put it back together with a warning
..DO NOT SKI (coz your busted kneecap will knit in time but the rest of the internals wont hold together any more :( )

my right knee now forecasts the weather :kuda:
GOTTA LUV the 12R!!

Got back last night - Fantastic weather and plenty of snow.
The kids are getting really good and there flying down the mountains... (a lot of crashing though.. :-) )
BTW, if anyone is going down there and hiring gear, drop into Snow City at the Caltex at Jindy, we'ver hired from there the last couple of years. A couple of the guys ride bikes and they really looked after us with all the hire gear... Make sure you wear your KSRC gear and tell em you know us.. :-)

We are heading down tomorrow afternoon. We are going to check out Thredbo for a change Wednesday and decide after that if we will stay there or head back to Perisher for Thursday and Friday.

We went to Smiggins and skied over to Perisher. We could park right next to the snow at Smiggins every day. Perisher was a long walk, even on the Thursday and Friday. Saturday the car park at Perisher was full by 9.30 and ppl were parking up the road, we still got to park next to the snow at Smiggins.
Walking in those boots is a pain so the closer the better and we had lunch in the ute tray.. :-)
Heres our spot... :-)

Ah, good old Sunny Smigs. I worked there for a few seasons so I know the place quite well. If you had ventured down to the instructors locker room you would find a Kuda sticker on the glass if it's still there. That's not bad cover for this time of the year either.

Look closely Mal , their white fur is excellent camouflage on the snow . I see 12 in the pic . The one hiding behind the skilift tower is really cute .
Ummmm let me see
