Mike, still disagree that potassium "explodes" - it is very rapid combustion hence appears to explode. Picky, I know but we strive for accuracy.
Btw - even substances classified as " explosives " burn, but very rapidly.
I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..
If it's got wheels or tits, it's gonna give you trouble !

Your initial answer of combusts was the one, when it got changed to explodes I just left it as colse enough.

I think it's New Old Stock, as in it's old stock but still in as new condition.
