Girls of KSRC Calender thread v2.0

Postby mike-s » Sat Jan 14, 2006 9:29 am

Ok, thread one has basically turned into a bunch of titty/bike porn.
If a calender is to be even thought about even HALF seriously, i ask the following. We discuss the idea in this thread (or others) and we keep the thread clean of all the boobie shots that have been popping up in the other thread

Can the mods please help keep this thread on topic as there are a lotta blokes in here, including myself, and were easily dist... oh that looks ni.. oh yeah, easily distracted.

Ok guys, Calender, im all for one featuring "the girls of KSRC", something else nice to put up in the garage :-)

I never posted to the original calender thread, although theres a few hormones floating about the thought of one of me mates missus draped over a bike in next to nothing didnt appeal to me.

How many different people do you want? Who's gonna be in it? Can't people place their own pictures or email them to whom ever is going to arrange this and they can along with a few others make the end choice? We only have 12 months in a year and I bet a few women wanting to add pic's to it. How about ya even get the women who wanna do it post their pics and have a pole. Top 12 go in?

either or, but we do have a year to polish this thing.

I'm just saying though, some may or may not have resources to get pics sorted themselves. In any case, lets see an idea of numbers first.

Err no me thinks not, unless there is suitable demand from the females here for a blokes calendar, personally kinda doubt there would be enough interest to justify the cost of it. One can only handle so many shots of Leo...

On a related note, am sure photomike will put his hand up for the Vic job if he is needed. Failing that happy to do it myself, don't have all the bells and whistles that photomike has but have a decent digital camera and a decent analogie camera.

Not that there's anything wrong with that RG...

But seriously, I would happily donate my services for any photochopping / artification that is required...

I also have a good relationship with an excellent printer who could produce these.

For Qld, Jeff is particularly good with a camera & Photoshop, but mainly does outdoor shots. Otherwise, a close friend of ours (rides a VFR, but don't hold that against him) has a complete indoor studio set up in the garage (easy to get bikes in and out of) and would happily do the required shots. He is in the Western suburbs.
Cheers,
Anne

Of course, if we get organised, and have enough of the women folk to do this, then maybe a 16 month calendar, starting in September 2006?

I'm happy to organise/shoot etc for the Vic chapter. I agree to keep it clean for the calander, gives a better impression of the club. If people want 'other' shots for what ever reason, well, I'm accomadating
