Postby Richo » Wed Sep 17, 2008 6:39 pm

Wouldnt it be nice to have a nice drag on a ciggy, get ya hit, blow out the smoke and not get all that shit stuff thats gonna kill us faster than any bike can?

Well, Ive come across the E-Cig! . . :D

mate of mine has one....tried it...am going to buy one. its water vapour you blow out, and it it is close, but not quite like a normal ciggie. its a bit heavier. worth an investment i think. its "smoking", but without the smoke.
the looks from people when you play the pokies inside and have one of them out yr mouth are priceless!!

after all, if i like fake tits, lips clour hair etc....why not a fake durrie?

Well, got home yesterday to find my e-ciggs arrived ...

Bit bigger and heavier considering it has an led, lithium battery, atomiser and liquid nicotine cartridge!

Takes a little getting used to ... BUTTTT .. I havnt had a real cancer durrie since I got home last night ... not a bad start eh ;)

Oh, and for those wondering about cost ... the starter pack gives ya 2 batteries and 10 cartridges. Each cartridge is equivalent to about 15 fags ... so, they kinda sent me five packs of fags .. and they whole thing cost me $49 ... Umm, thats probably cheaper than five packs. ALSO .. the refill cartridges are only $2 each .. so thats $4 equivalent a pack! ..

ps ... and because it isnt actual smoke ... no tar, C O2 etc .. you can legally smoke em ANYWHERE!

Richo, best way Ive heard is CHAMPIX.

Varenicline (Champix®)
Champix is a non-nicotine tablet specifically designed as a stop-smoking treatment. It works in the brain, helping to reduce the cravings and withdrawal symptoms associated with quitting, while also reducing the pleasure you get if you smoke a cigarette while you're taking the tablet. Champix is available only on prescription so ask your doctor or pharmacist if it's right for you.

Was $130 a month, now on PBS it's only $30 a month. I haven't tried anything yet, but would try this one.

WTF is an E-Ciggie

Good luck with it Richo- sounds like you are very determined to kick the stinky habit. Let us know how it goes.

Update ..

Had 3 cigs on Sunday morning coz I forgot to charge the prick. .. but havnt had a real one since. :D

Thing is, Im not really ready to QUIT, thats a big decision ... BUT, this is a good replacement in the meantime. I still get to smoke, but im now not getting any of those 4000 cancer causing karns .. . no more stinky breath and no coughy coughy in the morning ... in fact, you could smoke these for the rest of ya life and, appart from the niccotine addiction (which in fact does NOT cause cancer) .. So, you would get healthier, and not have to quit straight away. Woohoo! ..

Oh, and for those like Hoffy still wondering wtf it is . .

There is a small cartridge of liquid (similar to that used on disco smoke machines) infused with niccotine and flavour. It atomises and ya inhale it .. simple. The tobacco flavour (you can also get mint, coffee or apple) is like a reaaaal smooth sweet rolie (reminded me of Champion Ruby) . . .

Oh .. and will obviously have it with me up the PITS sunday . .

best of both worlds i think.

you can now keep on smoking and it doesnt kill you or even harm you in any way.

now when someone ask's you for a spare ciggy what are you gonna say ?
