Something wrong with those numbers for sure.
I never knew what generation I was supposed to be in, because when I started school as the eldest child everyone else in my class had half a dozen older brothers and sisters.

the way the end of the 'boomers' generation keeps getting pushed out, inside 10 years , I reckon some experts will have pushed the boomer generation out to the *end* of the 60's !!!

So Daisy.........are you Year of the Tiger or what ??

(born 1944-1960) The Baby Boomers

(born 1960-1979) Generation X

(born 1980-2001) Generation Y

There you go - I had not looked at the Wiki entry for this before posting my dates above, but these dates lifted straight from Wiki correspond almost *exactly* with the periods in my earlier post. Wiki also mentions all sorts of 'cusp' generations (ie 1975 - 1986) etc, this is just crap. There have been only 3 basic generations between the end of WWII and the end of the 20th century.

I am just being pedantic about this because *NO FUCKING WAY* am I some baby-boomer retired fat arse who smoked shitloads of cones in the 60's and 70's (well, maybe the very late 70's !!!)

Gos, you must admit that we are some 5-10 years behind the states as far as the time lines are concerned, so that probably gives you the best of both worlds ;)
So that makes you a baby boomer, with latent Gen X tendencies, "and a tinch of sinister sauce" from the gen Y :P
Nostradamus probably got it right
