I can't believe that society has stooped so low that we need to watch fat people losing weight to be entertained...

What next? Maybe we could have a show where they get a bunch of anorexics and fatten them up? Or maybe a show to see who can get the biggest boob job? (Someone point me in the right direction if they're already doing this )

Between this crap, Big Brother and the nightly news, it's no wonder I barely watch tv.

They can jam all versions of reality TV as far as I'm concerend. I'd rather be out there having a life than watching someone else try and have one. It's cheap TV with over rated sponsors, all paid for by idiots voting by SMS.

I missed BL last night, places to go people to see, but opened the paper this morning to see that "Corey" was going to be on BB.... the media has a lot to answer for encouraging shits like that... all we can hope is that someone in that house does what his parents 'couldnt' and straightens him out 'the hard way'

I only watched it because I knew someone on there, but I really enjoyed the series and I am sorry I missed the earlier ones. The show motivated me and my missus to get off our arses and we both lost 5kg+. Where is the bad?

TV used to be entertainment for the public paid for by advertisers. Now it's cheap shit on every channel that has very little entertainment value, and tries to get us to fund it by SMS. No thanks.

People call me crazy for riding BMX at my age. But I'm fitter than ever, spend a good number of hours with my kids and have a social life through other members of that club. Sure it takes up my time and costs a bit, but I have a life worth living and don't need to resort to sitting in a lounge, watching people sitting in a lounge (BB). My money keeps me happy, rather than funds someone elses prize.

I know BL did not have TXT voting, and it's good that people got off their arse and did something about their weight problem. But, as other members in here have proved, it is possible without removing decent programming on national television.
