so, why can't parents take some responsibility and teach their kids about road safety?

Don't know if makes much difference if PEOPLE CAN'T SEE RED LIGHTS! Bloody hell, how are you meant stay alive on the roads if people run reds. Some fecker in a van almost t-boned me a few weeks ago when he ran the red. As far as I'm concerned, running reds is a despicable traffic offense and the punishment should be harsh.

Where I live if you do 40 on a 40 zone you will be ABUSED the drivers are commuting carnts. No one does 40 there.
